For nearly four decades, St Albans Community Preschool has proudly served the heart of our local community. Established in September 1985, we are a not-for-profit early childhood centre licensed for up to 35 children aged 2 to 5 years. Our long-standing presence reflects our deep commitment to making high-quality early childhood education both accessible and affordable for local families.

We have a great team of educators committed to ongoing learning and working together to create a fun, reactive and empowering environment. Our teachers embody our vision of creating life long learners, continually evaluating the latest in early childhood and seeking to apply them in practical and fun ways.
At St Albans Community Preschool, we believe that children flourish best when their social and emotional skills are nurtured alongside a strong learning culture. Drawing on the Ministry of Education’s He Māpuna te Tamaiti, our kaiako intentionally cultivate emotional literacy, empathy, friendship skills, and resilience; forming a foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing.
